Can a 0-10Vdc EC fan be divided into several fixed speed gears?

Normally, our EC fans (PMSM) will provide users with a 0-10V/PWM speed control interface, and the functions are generally as shown below:

But in some cases, we want to use all the advantages of EC fans, but do not need 0-10V stepless speed regulation or matching speed control circuit boards. We only need 4 or 3 fixed speed gears (for example, AC motors with four speeds were used originally). At this time, can it be replaced seamlessly?

The answer is absolutely yes. EC fans can also connect 3 or 4 speed control signal lines on the control circuit board like AC motor tap speed regulation motors (theoretically, EC motors can be divided into N gears, but 4 is usually enough for daily use), as shown in the following figure:
